And I still don't take the money myself. People pay through PayPal. I don't get access to any of their information such as bank accounts or credit cards or debit cards, etc.

Hello, Jean, So glad to see you stopped by. I love to crochet. A few years ago, I started making lots of hats and donating them to the people at our local Day Center For The Homeless here in Tulsa. This winter, I got so much help with donated yarn, hats, scarves and gloves because of an article in the Tulsa World and one in an internet magazine, that I decided to try something a little different now.

I started making other items to sell. The money from this will be used to buy gloves to go with the hats I make. Also to help keep this website going.

So, I guess to answer your first question; yes, to both things. Anyone can donate yarn, hats, scarves or gloves. But not cash. I was pretty explicit with that point. Also, I am now selling items to help raise money for this Hats For Homeless project.

As for your second question; what you and the RSVP are doing is a wonderful thing and I commend you all for it. But, I am happy with what I'm doing. Thank you so much for the invitation, though.

God's Blessings on you and yours.

Are you selling items for the homeless or asking for donations? I belong to RSVP (retired seniors) who knit hats and scarves for the various underpriviledges children and the homeless. Why not join us?
